Blue Monday/MYM: Al fresco
Posted on | February 28, 2011 | 10 Comments

I love having lunch and dinner al fresco. My aunt who moved into a new home invited us over for a day to spend with her and her family. We stayed from lunch to dinner and had so much fun not just from the quality time we spent together but also from the good food that she had catered for us. The kids, when they got bored running around the house, went to the basement to focus on the xbox. The adults, younger and older, spent time at the garden catching up. It’s not everyday we get to spend time with all the aunts, and most women in the clan, in attendance without the kids interrupting the loud and delightful conversations.

What a beautiful table! Perfect for MYM and BM! Who wouldn’t enjoy dining in such a wonderful location?! Thanks for sharing your photos. It’s the middle of winter here in New England. I can live vicariously through you. Have a great day! Candace

Ooh that looks just lovely. I live in a flat so I don’t get to sit in the garden much.
Happy Blue Monday!

What an absolutely lovely table setting! I’m sure you and the adults had a wonderful time together and it must have been fun for the children as well.
