Thoughts from someone online almost 24/7.

Learn from me.

That’s what my aunt told me when I dropped by her place for another visit. She told me that I should learn from her mistakes and never to repeat them. One mistake she told me about was handling her finances. She told me that she used to be a person who would throw cautions to the wind and just shop until she’s squeezed every last penny in her credit cards and savings account. By the time she realized that she should have done that instead should have just used her money to buy gold coins and invest for her future, it’s already too late.

I told her that I am keeping all her lectures about life in mind and that she won’t find me repeating her mistakes.

  • What sort of diary should I like mine to be? Something loose knit and yet not slovenly, so elastic that it will embrace any thing, solemn, slight or beautiful that comes into my mind. I should like it to resemble some deep old desk, or capacious hold-all, in which one flings a mass of odds and ends without looking them through.
