Going back for a change

Name one thing you wish you could go back and change about your education.

I think if I will be given a chance to change something about my education I would have taken a different course. I probably could have taken something related to computers and web development. And writing. I would have wanted to graduate with a degree in Information Technology. I would have liked to become a writer for a leading lifestyle magazine as well.

I learned to love Accountancy because it was a tool given to me to help support the family. I earned a lot from it. But you know a high salary will never give you the contentment you will get from doing something that you are passionate about. You are lucky if you have both passion and compensation. I don’t know a lot of people who do. As you grow older, you tend to look more for what will make you content than what will fill your pocket. That’s why I had no qualms quitting the corporate world half a decade ago. I will do it all over again if there’s an opportunity.

Passion in whatever you do. Contentment comes after.
